Premiere of The Grinder – “Pilot”

Basic Summary – The series follows a TV actor who returns to his hometown to work as a lawyer after his long-running television series, The Grinder (on which he played a lawyer), is suddenly canceled. Unfortunately, his family are actual lawyers who run an actual law firm, so having believed that his television experience would make him qualified to be a lawyer, he decides to join their firm despite having only played one on the small screen.

Shows that should return to Television from Cancellations/Endings

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (October 2013 – April 2014)

Okay so I haven’t seen this show, mostly because I never knew when it was on. And maybe that was the problem with this show. In addition, it was definitely overshadowed by Once Upon a Time which is a pretty awesome show as a side note. I don’t really know why they made both shows at the same time. That was more of the problem. I would love for this show to come back maybe as like a Netflix series or maybe come back at a better time slot. Probably won’t, but I have hope. Continue reading

Shows That Should Return to Television (Disney Channel Edition)

What used to be majority of my personal childhood, now is mostly gone from television. Disney Channel has this secret rule that once a show ends or a movie airs they will not continue to show it if it’s over 5 years old (excluding High School Musical – I think?) Similar to last time, which shows should come back to television for a reunion or just because we all want them back.

Lizzie McGuire (January 2001 – February 2004)

The girl with amazing hairstyles – Lizzie, an awesome realistic best friend – Miranda, and childhood, soon to be romantic, best friend – Gordo, and there struggles and highs/lows of middle school – yeah that is the best way I can describe this show. The parts that made this show amazing are Lizzie’s alter-ego, a little animated her revealing her inner thoughts about situations. This show had everything and set the bar high for many people (Gordo being the ultimate best friend). I wish they did a high school version of the show, but for now I’ll stick with the middle school version. Continue reading

Shows that should return to Television (Nickelodeon Edition)

These shows either got too little screen life or were cut off too soon due to various reasons. Either way they should come back to television to either continue to wrap up some serious plot points or just by popular demand.

Zoey 101 (January 2005 – May 2008)
This show was basically most 90s children elementary school years. Basic concept for this show following at first is girls who are trying to infiltrate a formerly all-boys school and then after a season of that the highs and lows of boarding school life. It gave us basically unrealistic expectation of middle/high school (don’t deny it, you wanted to go to Pacific Coast Academy). Watching it now brings back some serious nostalgia.
