The Legend of Korra – Nickelodeon

SUCH A PROGRESSIVE SHOW – JUST KNOW THAT

Basic Summary – This follow-up series to “Avatar: The Last Airbender” is set 70 years after the events of “Avatar” and follows Korra, the next Avatar after Aang, who is from the Southern Water Tribe. With earth, water and fire under her belt, Korra must master the art of airbending. Korra’s quest leads her to Republic City, a virtual melting pot where benders and nonbenders live together. But she soon discovers that the land is plagued by crime and a growing antibending revolution that threatens to tear the city apart. While dealing with the dangers, Korra begins her airbending training under the tutelage of Aang’s son, Tenzin.

The spinoff show to Avatar: The Last Airbender. Basically some years have past…same as in real life (10 years almost) and these creators still got there magic to make a tv show have an impact. This show keeps everything that the original show has (almost) and has some new twists to it. A new love triangle and more political problems involved in the show. Now did this work – eh. I mean I like this show. Not love, but like.

The love triangle gets in the way of the plot and gets annoying so quickly. The political aspect is kinda boring and I felt as if they needed to have some type of bending battle somewhere in the episode to make it keep your attention again. But this has got to be one of the more progressive kid’s show I’ve seen. Just watch all the seasons and you’ll see what I mean especially at the series finale.

So where can you find it – I think Nickelodeon’s website has it still…just look up the show
