Just for the facts – 19 year old girl reviewing here. Adults probably have a different view about this film. But that being said let’s get on with the review.
Summary – College student Beca (Anna Kendrick) knows she does not want to be part of a clique, but that’s exactly where she finds herself after arriving at her new school. Thrust in among mean gals, nice gals and just plain weird gals, Beca finds that the only thing they have in common is how well they sing together. She takes the women of the group out of their comfort zone of traditional arrangements and into a world of amazing harmonic combinations in a fight to the top of college music competitions.
Aca-mazing. Pitch Perfect is a film way out of left field. It follows basically college acapella groups and the various challenges and competitions that happen throughout the year. First hearing about this film, didn’t know what I was going to get other than singing. This film is very funny and entertaining. It keeps your attention all the way through the film. I love the song choices, the actors which could be argue that not many people really knew the cast before this film. I don’t think I really have any problem with Pitch Perfect, except for the commenters in the film but even that is rarely seen in the film so I can leave with it.
